Oh hey there, teach! On today’s show I’m going to share with you how we — that is, we at Team Kayse — write emails to teachers (and I don’t mean your kid’s teachers either, but instead I mean those teachers that might become your customers). Most of all, I am going to share with you the secrets behind how we grow our email lists by the THOUSANDS each month and how we write emails to teachers to make TpT sales without selling. If you're struggling with how to write an email to a teacher on your email list and also want to boost your TPT sales, this episode is for you. But before you get too caught up selling to your teacher email list, let’s look at a quote from one of my favorite books in order to reframe your mindsets for long-term success:
“When we lead with a finite mindset in an infinite game, it leads to all kinds of problems, the most common of which includes the decline of trust, cooperation, and innovation. Leading with an infinite mindset in an infinite game, in contrast, really does move us in a better direction.” – Simon Sinek
For those of you who have been with me for a while, you know that I love a good book. And in The Infinite Game, Simon Senek asks us to shift our mindset from “I” to “we,” to shift from short-term to long-term thinking, and to shift from a TpT sale to adding value (okay, admittedly, that last one is mine… :)). In other words, it's real easy to say, “Man, I didn't make as many sales on TpT as I did last year at this time,” or “I've only been able to create five products so far.” It’s more difficult to say:
On today's show, you’re going to get five actionable steps to start writing emails to teachers. Best of all, these emails will lead to TpT sales in a more nuanced and authentic approach. In other words, you’ll learn how to address a teacher in an email that lead to sales on TpT without selling.
