I think I heard people tell me why it was necessary to grow your email list for a few years before I actually decided to do anything about it. I really didn’t see the value in having an email list because I was selling on Teachers Pay Teachers and doing pretty well.
Ever heard the saying, “You don’t know what you don’t know?” Well, that statement was never more true than when I finally decided to stop playing online business teacher and start actually living the life. Ya know – walking the walk and talking the talk. I want you to take these basic concepts and apply them to your business strategy for the new year and watch how quickly your lists go from zero to hero. I’m gonna share how to grow your email list using Facebook and how to grow your email list with Instagram and more.

Well, I’ve heard all of those and more from my students and listeners. Here’s where the problem lies. You are living in a place of if/then when you have to switch your mindset to a place of do/have. Here’s what I mean:

IF I have 100 products posted in my TpT store, THEN I’ll be ready to grow my email list.
IF I start my Instagram first, THEN I will be able to grow my list faster.

In every single instance listed above, you have to focus your efforts on making your email list a priority. That means, find the right provider and go ahead and get everything set up and the ball rolling. Once that is ready to go, you’ll be ready to take control of this step and implement it immediately.
Just asking people to give you their email addresses isn’t a strategy we use. Instead, we like to give massive value to our potential clients by giving them a big big thing for free. For example, creating an opt-in will allow you to give your customers a lot of value then you can share it on different social media channels and search engines.
Taking action on your business will help you begin to reach more of your audience. Create a healthy engaged list. And ultimately help you begin to reach students and teachers around the world.
