It wouldn’t be a teacher Christmas gift guide from me without some book recommendations! I love to read, and I read/listen to two-three books per week. I keep track of my favorites here, but I chose two that have been pivotal for my business and life. My first book suggestion is for the business- Building a Story Brand by Donald Miller. I’ve read this book multiple times and get new nuggets of wisdom with every read. Your brand should tell a story, and Miller does a phenomenal job guiding you in coming up with your brand’s story. This is a MUST-READ for every entrepreneur, so this is a foolproof CEO Teacher Christmas gift, in my opinion!

My second book choice is The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. Keystone habits are “small changes or habits that people introduce into their routines that unintentionally carry over into other aspects of their lives” (Duhigg). They are a big key to success, and in this book, you’ll learn more about the power that habits have in our lives and how to build those keystone habits and become a high-performer.

Speaking of keystone habits, these CEO Teacher gift ideas for Christmas are helpful when working on them! If you are working out from home, dumbbells are such a worthwhile investment! I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, and the shorter days and longer nights really do have a negative impact on my mind and spirit. I sit in front of it for a few minutes each day, and it keeps me energized even when I don’t get to see the sun as much. It’s a necessity for me, and it will bring some happy to you too!
