There are ways teachers can make extra money online, and begin to take charge of their future. I turned 35 this year and I thought I’d feel older, you know? Anyone else been there? Thinking that age will define your next move. I started CrossFit about a year and a half ago when I was 9 weeks pregnant so I’m really just now starting to see the progress now that our baby is 8 months old. I’m just now starting to feel stronger and lift heavier. I still leave some days like an old lady unable to walk for a few hours or so sore (especially in my core) that it hurts to laugh. But each day I feel stronger, more powerful, and heck if I’m being honest, I feel younger. 

I saw this quote by Muhammad Ali and I thought to myself you know that isn’t only true for our physical bodies but also for our mental bodies too. We think we are too old to get started or too young to have enough experience. Some people I know told me straight to my face “Kayse you shouldn’t tell new teachers they can sell anything online, they don’t have enough experience.” 

Hahahahaha! If only I had listened to that advice when everyone told me the same thing. Here’s the tea, veteran teachers are in the perfect position to make a killer income online because they have so much experience and are perfectly positioned to share all of that with the world. 

But here’s the thing, new teachers are also in the exact same position because they have new ideas and new strategies that sometimes our veteran teachers haven’t heard of or have never used. I can give you 20 examples of teachers near retirement that are retiring early using our strategies and our CEO Teacher® programs to make money online and I can give you 20 more right now that are just getting started that need that extra income too.

Here are a few setbacks in my life that turned out to be setups for the life I was supposed to live.

• Went to college at Valdosta State University, but dropped out after 16 days because I was miserable. Loaded up my ‘94 Honda Accord full to the top with everything I took with me to my dorm and called my mama on my way home from my old school LG flip phone. She tried her best to convince me to stay but I was officially a college dropout. 

Little did I know that moment would allow me to work back at my favorite pizza shop and that’s where I would meet my husband a few months later.

• Finally went back to being an educator and graduated in 2008 during a recession. I had my degree in early childhood education but had to be a sub for 2 years before I finally landed a job as a middle school teacher. Something I did NOT want to be, I felt like a failure and that setback was just another moment showing me the path that was yet to come. 

Who knew teaching middle school would become my favorite age and that set me up for creating middle school resources to sell online the multimillion-dollar business you see today? 

• My husband and I tried for 8 years to have another child. We tried but finally gave up. We were blessed. At that time we had 3 boys, so who were we to complain? I left my teaching job in January of 2018 and a few months later found out we had our 4th boy on the way. Then 2020 brought COVID and we were forced into the most beautiful and impactful babymoon. 

That setback, those 8 long years – those were a setup for the best days of our lives. 2020 gave us the family we had been praying for. And then we decided we’d try again and right away were given another gift. A precious baby girl.
